Having the opportunity to work here with Sunwest Trust, Inc. has been a great fulfilling change from working with a title company for the past 30 plus years. I have been here now a couple of years. I have to admit that everyday is better now; as there have been many new things I have learned with my short time here. I enjoy working with my fellow employees and dealing with the public both in person and over the phone on a day to day basis. I have acquired a new pet recently. Gypsy is a purebred shih tzu. She is still very young, so she is still learning quite a few things thus far. She occupies my spare time, and I am thoroughly enjoying her spunky personality.

Cynthia Archuleta, Vice-President, ext. 3805I started my business career in 1985 working for a locally owned Escrow Company in Albuquerque. I joined Terry White at First Financial Escrow in 1987 and am one of the original staff members for Sunwest Escrow which was founded in 1997. My experience includes extensive knowledge with all aspects of Real Estate Contracts and Individual Retirement Accounts. I enjoy what I do and consider my responsibilities at Sunwest both my vocation and avocation. Personally, I have two children, 21 and 17, one is an artist and the other an athlete, they still manage to keep me very busy but I enjoy every minute of it.

Arthur Dougherty, President, ext. 3808I started my banking career in 1977 after graduating from the University of New Mexico. My banking experience includes lending, both commercial and retail, branch management and finally management of Sunwest Bank's real estate contract department.
With Sunwest Trust CEO Terry White, I helped form Sunwest Escrow in 1997 which became the current company, Sunwest Trust, in 2003.
Personally, I have three grown children and one grand child. I enjoy hiking, biking, travel, and music.

A content native of Albuquerque, I have lived here my whole life and am proud of joining the Sunwest Trust family. I recently graduated from the University of New Mexico with a Bachelor of Arts in astrophysics and a minor in mathematics. I worked as a process server for seven years through college but am excited for the new experience and the possiblities it might open. I am also pursuing a teaching career and would love to teach physics, math or astronomy. Amoung my fascination of numbers and equations, I also play soccer and in the winter I enjoy skiing all over New Mexico.

A native New Mexican and resident of Albuquerque for 43 years. Worked for Save The Children and The Real Estate book before I started working part-time for Sunwest Trust in February 2008 as an IRA Account Clerk. Interests include volunteer work, personal health (nutrition and exercise), digital photography, interior design and computer technology. Goals are to continue working while contributing to the local community in the process.

For 30 years I called Tennessee home. While there I worked for the Federal Reserve Bank in Nashville as well as a small community bank. After our daughter, Jenny, and our son Josh were born, I ran a licensed day care for 8 1/2 years. In 1986 we moved to Albuquerque. I began working part time for The Real Estate Book and later full time as Office Manager until March, 2009 when I joined Sunwest Trust. My husband and I have been married for 38 years. We enjoy traveling, movies, being active in our church, volunteer work for Albuquerque Christian Childrens Home, and spending time with our children and granddaughters, Jaiden and Jentry.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. I went to high school at Sandia High and then I enrolled at the University of New Mexico. I attended UNM my freshman year, then moved on to study business at Seattle Central my sophomore year. I returned to Anderson School of Management at UNM to receive my bachelors in finance. After graduation I started my career as a loan officer, first at New Mexico Wholesale Mortgage while the real estate market was booming. Then I moved on to Wells Fargo Home Mortgage as a loan officer there. Now I am a part of the Sunwest Trust Family and look forward to being an integral part of their workforce for years to come. I enjoy sports and have been an avid golfer for 15+ years and continue to work on my game.

I was born in Albuquerque and have lived here my entire life except the six months during college when I worked at Disney World in Orlando. I graduated from the University of New Mexico in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education and a minor in English. Only a few weeks after graduating, I married my longtime love who I met in high school. My wife is an artist and quite a fantastic one if I do say so myself. I love music and play several instruments, or at least attempt to. I have also recently developed an interest in photography-something I hope to pursue more seriously as time goes on.

I have lived here in Albuquerque, New Mexico since 2008. I originally grew up in the Virginia/Maryland area attending school and working in the customer service/business adminstration field. Working here at Sunwest Trust is an informative and pleasurable learning experience. The atmosphere here makes it easy to work with our staff and our clients on a friendly and professional level. I have a vested interest in expanding my knowledge and skills around the Escrow financial services as well as the IRA investment tools here at Sunwest Trust. A few activities that I enjoy in my off time are, traveling, photography, writing music, playing drums, guitar, hiking, biking, and skateboarding.

I am a native New Mexican, born in Albuquerque. I have also lived in California and Arizona but nothing beats the Land of Enchantment, I am married and have a son, daughter and grandson, whom I have been blessed with and grateful for. We love camping and enjoy the great outdoors. Enjoy watching our hometown baseball team the Albuquerque Isotopes and attend a lot of their games. Another joy of mine is gardening. My family keeps telling me that my Calla lillies would win a blue ribbon and should enter them into competition. I have 27 years work experience of which 11 years was in the banking business. I enjoy working at Sunwest Trust and work with phenomenal staff. They are indeed my second family. I want to use my experience and expertise to meet your needs. My dedication reflects my professional standards and focus on my clients' needs.

I have lived in Albuquerque for 8 years now. I'm originally from California . I have 3 awesome children, my daughter Vanessa 29, Chris 25 and Bobby 18, plus my 2 grandchildren, Anthony 10 and my precious Destiny 8, who are my joy. I can not forget Robert, my son-in-law and my future daughter-in-law, Suzanne. My children are my life. I'm truly blessed.
We had the good fortune to live in Europe for 12 years, due to being a military family. The people, the food, the lifestyle and of course the traveling was an amazing experience.
I have 9 years accountable with Escrow/Title and am happy to be joining the Sunwest Trust team.

I was born and raised in Albuquerque and loved every minute of it. I graduated high school from Eldorado and have just recently graduated from UNM with a bachelor’s degree in English. For my first two years of college I worked as a court runner for a local title company. I then spent three years working locally as a marketing manager and graphic designer for the national real estate publication called The Real Estate Book. After graduation I moved directly to Sunwest Trust. In my off time I enjoy playing soccer in the summers and snowboarding in winter.

I began working for Sunwest Trust in January of 2007, which happened to be the same month that I got married, moved to Albuquerque and graduated from college. I have degrees from both South Plains College and Texas Tech University. In college, I interned for the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal. I wrote for the Sports and Entertainment sections of the newspaper. Transitioning into a career in business came naturally to me, probably because I have been around this business for my entire life. I can remember being very young and running all around my father’s office building when he first started this business over 20 years ago.
My wife, Rebecca, is originally from Dallas, TX, but has adapted very well to life in the New Mexican desert. We live with our two dogs; Boxers named Sawyer and Penny. Rebecca and I spend much of our time training for marathons and traveling as much as we can. I also love to play soccer and snowboard in my free time.

Terry White, Chief Executive Officer, ext. 3809I started my business career after getting my degree in Accounting from the University of New Mexico in 1983. My first job was as controller for a local title company and in 1987 I started First Financial Escrow, Inc. Over the years I played a part in several startup companies including First Financial Equities, Inc., First Financial Trust, Inc., First Financial Marketing, Inc. and Asset Ventures, Inc. In 1997 First Financial Escrow, Inc. was able to purchase the escrow accounts from Sunwest Bank and changed its name to Sunwest Escrow. As the market changes Sunwest has grown and changed along with it and today is Sunwest Trust, Inc. Besides my wife, Sheila and my three boys and now one daughter-in-law, Sunwest Trust is my passion and I enjoy coming to work every day to see what will happen next. I have been happily married 31 years and enjoy fly fishing, spending time in Colorado, biking and watching my boys play soccer.

Anna, Customer Service Manager, ext. 3807I have lived in New Mexico most of my life here in Albuquerque. I came to this company with 21 years of banking experience. I have a bachelor’s degree in University Studies from the University of New Mexico. My husband, of 20 years, and I have been given 3 beautiful children who occupy much of our time. They are 16, 14 and 13 years of age. We enjoy winter sports, and attending soccer games as a family. We are always up for attending Isotopes baseball games and LOBO basketball games. My musical talent is used in children's ministry in our local church. I have been employed by Sunwest Trust, Inc. for 14 years.
